Who We Are

We are a family-owned commercial dog breeder approved by the Minister for Agriculture to breed due to our exceptional ethical standards, extensive knowledge and qualifications in animal biology, health canine psychology, breeding, raising and training over the past 14 years.

Aside from this, we have our primary jobs that keep us busy, and sometimes, we migrate a lot. We originated in Perth but are currently located in Tasmania where we breed. With 14 years of experience and a passionate and dedicated team, we are trusted experts in this industry with a wealth of knowledge and the resources to care for, train, and socialise our animals.

As ethical breeders, concern for the health and well-being of our puppies is paramount and will always be a priority before profits. Our core values ensure our dogs receive enrichment and an excellent quality of life.

Our Vision

As responsible breeders, we provide genetic and health guarantees. Our Dachshunds are happy, healthy, loving dogs who are always excited to meet new people. They won’t shy away from visitors. We have grown so big over the years that we now have our branch in Auckland, from where we ship to our customers. We care about our dogs and the homes they will eventually go to, so we encourage you to spend time with the puppies and their parents when you visit. We can also guide you in caring for and training your dachshund puppy, and we’re always available to help after you take your puppy home.

Our Mission

Our mission is to breed for excellence in health, intelligence, temperament and hypo-allergenic qualities.
We can access extensive bloodlines and carefully select our puppies’ parents who possess the best qualities of their breed. This ensures that our puppies are suitable for all types of families, first-time pet owners, seniors and those looking for assistance dogs for autism, post-traumatic stress disorder, multiple sclerosis, diabetes and various other disabilities and mental health conditions.

Just wanted to share some recent photos of the baby! Since the day we brought him home, he fit right in! He learned the doggy door in 2 days and is doing great with his potty training! It’s hard to believe that she’s going to be 8 months old soon!S he has really grown into her length and gets prettier by the day. Koda [was Moose] has been with us 3 weeks. He is incredible. We love this puppy more than anything. We expected a great dog and had a high bar set for Lv Dachshund Home to cross. They cleared this high bar with a ton of space to spare. Everything up to the on time delivery was perfect. Not one complaint. We asked for extra videos and were given more videos.
